Formation
Formation is the intentional activity of being shaped, like on a potter’s wheel. Ecumenical and inter-religious formation is the activity of crafting or shaping emerging leaders in the landscape of this work within the country and the world. In ecumenical and inter-religious work, you are invited to seek new opportunities available to you. Some of these opportunities are available below. All opportunities require research and initiative in shaping and being shaped in your specific interests.
Members of a speaker’s bureau organized by the ELCA Section for Ecumenical and Inter-Religious Relations is also happy to speak with or to your ministry context about ecumenical and inter-religious formation and relations within the life of the church. Please contact us for further information.
