There are four advocacy ministries of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America: ELCA Washington Office, State Public Policy Offices, Lutheran Office for World Community, and Corporate Social Responsibility. Each ministry advocactes for just, sound and compassionate public social policies based upon the officially adopted social justice policy positions of the ELCA.
