Tuck Aaker, who writes the Web newsletter, is a retired businessman who has his hand on the pulse of continuing changes in our society and our church.
Before retirement Tuck was a "turnaround specialist" who worked with troubled businesses. He brought clarity of purpose and worked to build positive attitudes. He emphasized the value of honest manager-employee relationships. He taught the importance of integrity, transparency and the necessity for genuine partnerships. He pointed to present assets instead of needs.
After he retired Tuck worked as stewardship staff in the ELCA Florida/Bahamas Synod where he helped pastors and congregations develop plans for whole-life stewardship that paid attention to cultural changes, business realities and religious commitments.
Now Tuck brings his experience, knowledge and wisdom in the form of a monthly web newsletter, "Sunshine Stewardship." |
